In “A Generation Lost” author Michael Chang draws upon his own personal experiences to tell an all too familiar story of wasted potential and shattered dreams. Set against the backdrop of the 2008 financial crisis, Chang chronicles his struggle for employment following graduation, describing in great detail the effect this had on him, and others from his generation. Before going on to claim that as a consequence a more conservative generation developed, which has directly led to events such as Brexit, and the election of Donald Trump.
